What can I expect during organizing sessions?

We'll start by assessing where you are and determining what is working for you, what's not working, and your goals and vision for your home or office.  Together, we will work to create a plan of action.  Then, we get to work!

How long will my project take?

While it's sometimes possible to give general estimations, the short answer to this question is "it depends".   Each client is different, and each space is different.  The length of an organizing project will depend on how quickly you are able to make decisions, the contents of the space, whether family members are involved, and whether other priorities come up during the project.   During the initial consultation, I can provide rough estimates based on what you decide are the areas you want to work on.

Are other people this disorganized? Is my space (or time management) the worst you've ever seen?

Disorganization is extremely common, but people don't like to talk about it.  Since everyone's space/time is different, it's impossible to say that one is "worse" than another.  When we work together the only comparison will be between how it was, how it is, and how it will be.  It's not helpful to compare your level of organization to the organization of others so I won't do it, and I encourage you to not do it either.

Is this confidential?

I am a member of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) and abide by their code of ethics.  I will not disclose identifying information about you or our work unless required to by law or given express permission by you.

What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership between us which creates a process that inspires you to maximize personal and professional potential.  It is designed to facilitate the development of personal and/or professional goals and to develop and carry out a plan for achieving those goals.

It's a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of the your life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, and recreation.

Why haven't I been able to get organized by myself?

I like to compare my services to those of an accountant, hairdresser, or doctor.  I'm sure there are many services that you pay others to do because you do not have the skills or experience to do them yourself.  Organizers are trained professionals with the expertise to help you reach your goals.

How much will it cost?

Cost varies depending on the type of service and scope of the project.  Sessions can be booked at an hourly rate or packages can be purchased for a savings of up to 10%.  Contact me to learn more.

I'd like to take advantage of a package but want to test the waters first.  Can I purchase a package at any time?

Absolutely!  You can start out by scheduling at the hourly rate and may purchase a package at any time.
