Many organizers will tell you they have always been organized, even as young children. That’s not the case for Rachel! She was very disorganized and had to learn organization skills as an adult. Even now she has to set up external systems to keep herself accountable and on track. She has a deep understanding of her clients’ struggles and she knows that if she was able to learn to be organized, her clients can too.

Prior to starting Fontaine Organizing, Rachel worked as an office manager in various small business settings, including many years in a mental health practice.  Her experience includes running the day-to-day office flow, administrative assistance, patient interaction, financial management, and project management.  She has been instrumental in the development of office procedures, software selection, and monitoring of compliance with government regulations and commercial insurance requirements.

Rachel has trained and received specialist certificates for residential organizing and workplace productivity through NAPO and is experienced working with residential and small business clients.  She also holds specialist certificates in ADHD, chronic disorganization, and hoarding through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization.

Clients can expect honest and direct communication and that Rachel will treat them with respect, compassion, and understanding.

In her spare time Rachel can be found in the woods or just relaxing under the trees and hanging out with her husband and their German shepherds, Otto and Finn.

Fun fact about Rachel: she isn’t allergic to poison ivy.
